Street Food Tour by Vespa Sidecar
Taste the soul of Rome on a unique Vespa sidecar adventure — a culinary journey through panoramic hills, lively neighborhoods, and hidden gems where you’ll savor authentic pizza al taglio, artisanal gelato and espresso like a true Roman.
The experience
Experience the perfect fusion of taste, history, and adventure on this Gastronomic Vespa Sidecar Tour through Rome.
With your professional driver at the helm, you’ll glide through picturesque streets, panoramic viewpoints, and lively neighborhoods — all while savoring the city’s most authentic flavors.
Your journey begins on the Gianicolo Hill, where you’ll admire spectacular views of Rome and the monumental Fontana dell’Acqua Paola. From this breathtaking terrace, the Eternal City unfolds before you in golden light — the ideal start to a Roman adventure.
Then descend into Trastevere, the beating heart of Roman life. Wander through its cobbled streets and stop for a taste of pizza al taglio — Rome’s most beloved street food, thin, crisp, and full of flavor. Here, you’ll feel the spirit of the real Rome, vibrant and alive in every aroma.
Next, you’ll visit the legendary Bar San Calisto, a local institution known for its timeless charm. Enjoy a classic espresso or a traditional digestivo, surrounded by the laughter of locals and the scent of freshly ground coffee. It’s a pure slice of la dolce vita.
Continue your ride toward the Aventine Hill, home to the tranquil Giardino degli Aranci — the Orange Garden. Beneath the shade of citrus trees, you’ll take in one of the most romantic panoramas of Rome, with St. Peter’s Dome gleaming in the distance.
Your Vespa then glides past the Pyramid of Cestius, a 1st-century BC monument that embodies Rome’s eternal fascination with other cultures. Shortly after, indulge in a stop for handmade artisanal gelato at one of the city’s finest gelaterie — the perfect sweet interlude to your journey.
To crown this unforgettable experience, your tour concludes at a breathtaking Colosseum viewpoint, where the majesty of ancient Rome meets the pulse of modern life.
This is not just a food tour — it’s a celebration of flavor, freedom, and timeless beauty, seen from the most stylish seat in the city: the Vespa sidecar.
