Our story
Trip in Art was founded by a group of people chasing one shared dream: to help travelers experience Rome as more than a checklist of monuments. We started small — renting professional audio-guide headsets to tour guides and agencies across Rome. That closeness to the people who actually run tours taught us everything.
From there we built our own experiences: semi-private tours led by the finest licensed guides of the city. Today Trip in Art is based in Rome and focused on Rome — guided tours across the city, professional headset systems for groups, and a handful of curated day trips beyond Rome, such as Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast, run with trusted partners. Our vision is to grow into new experiences across Italy and Europe — but everything we offer today, we deliver right here, at home in Rome.

Yes. Trip in Art is a licensed travel agency (licence no. 180723) and every tour is led by a certified, licensed guide with expertise in Roman art and history. Our guides speak fluent English, with other languages available on request.
How big are the groups?
Our small-group tours are intentionally intimate — group sizes are kept small on purpose, and the maximum for each experience is shown on its page (our semi-private Colosseum tours cap at just 7 travelers). Private tours, with your own guide for your party only, are available for most experiences.
