Using the SKIP THE LINE ticket, your professional guide will transport you back in time through the 1st and 2nd levels of the Colosseum. It will be a 60-minute experience filled with history of emperors, stories of gladiator battles, bloody animal fights and executions in front of 50,000 people.

1 - Stop at: Meeting Point - Duration: 10 minutes

Your tour begins on Colle Oppio, where you will enjoy a spectacular bird's eye view of the Colosseum. You will meet our staff once you arrive at the meeting point.

We will arrange the most intimate and semi-private tour to immerse yourself in the 2000 year history of the Colosseum, avoiding huge and standard group tours.

2 - Stop At: Colosseum first and second rings - Duration: 50 minutes

With skip-the-line tickets your exclusive guide will take you to the first and second rings of the Colosseum to cover the best complete experience inside the Colosseum full of stories of emperors, gladiator fights, animal fights and executions in front of 50,000 spectators.

Meeting Point: The meeting point of this experience is at Largo Gaetana Agnesi, the square located on the terrace ABOVE the Colosseo metro station. Our staff will be waiting for you with a “TRIP IN ART” sign. Meeting time MANDATORY 15 minutes before the tour departure time.

End Point: Your tour will end in front of the Colosseum’s official bookstore, inside the monument where a large assortment of books about the Colosseum can be found.

Things To know

The experience includes monument tickets.
Avoid carrying large bags or backpacks.
Bring your umbrella on rainy days. (Luckily Rome doesn’t have many!)
Moderate fitness level required.
We will meet at the meeting point 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time, for management and organizational reasons.
We skip the long ticket lines, but have to go through security, generally a 5–10-minute wait.
Exact times and bookings may vary, depending on the availability and decisions of the monument / attraction administration offices on the day of booking and may be subject to last minute changes. The departure time may differ up to 20 minutes from the selected time.
